Empties - Makeup and Beauty Blog

recent empties september 13
It'southward crazy how this always happens at the aforementioned time!

I stepped into my bathroom to take a shower the other day — considering, plainly, I shower three times a solar day now because I'm so freaking sweaty — and discovered that a agglomeration of products I used all summer long have all gone empty at the same time.

Affair is, I apply things items practically every day, and so y'all'd think I would accept noticed sooner that my industrial-sized bottle of honey mango shower gel was running low, but nooOOOOooo. As if out of nowhere, it's empty.

I'k curious — what are some of your recent empties/things you've run out of lately? I'm kind of a voyeur who loves hearing about things people have finished to the last drop.

Here are mine…

1. Alba Botanica Very Emollient Bath & Shower Gel in Love Mango Replenishing Moisture for Extra Dry Skin ($12.99)

When I got this 32-oz. bottle for $12.99 at Target, information technology was for both me AND El Hub. And then it wasn't but for me! It doesn't incorporate parabens or pthalates, and the light mango scent smells divine when I'm lathering upwards, but it doesn't linger on the pare, which my husband likes (I guess he doesn't want to smell like mangoes at work). I e'er experience squeaky clean later on using it.

At present it'southward empty.

two. Caudalie Nourishing Body Lotion ($30)

An former fave from years agone that I rediscovered earlier this summer. Information technology's so adept that I seriously considered cutting open the bottle with a knife to extract the last drops, but I decided that that was probably a bad idea… I didn't want to accidentally cut off my pinky.

3. Burt's Bees Infant Shampoo and Wash ($xiv.59)

OK, this one isn't technically 1 of my empties. It's one of Connor's.

It creates LOTS of bubbles, which she loves to play with in the bathroom, and it doesn't sting her eyes.

P.S. She loves information technology when nosotros utilize information technology as a shampoo, and I style her pilus into a baby mohawk.

P.P.S. Someone needs to invent a baby emoji ? with a mohawk.

4. Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse ($24)

Of course I had to try this because, as you know, I was easygoing stalking Caroline Hirons for a minute.

This is groovy! In that location's a solid cleansing oil on one side and a cleansing cream on the other, and they completely remove all of my makeup and cleanse my skin without making it feel dry.

five. Kate Somerville Anti-Bac Acne Immigration Lotion ($42)

I've been turning to this acne-fighting friend for years!

I slacked off earlier this twelvemonth and didn't put it on my chin or around my mouth for like two weeks considering I was just straight-up lazy, and I paid for it when Julian the pimple moved in.

I need to go a refill of this ASAP.

6. R+Co Analog Cleansing Foam Conditioner ($29)

OK, I don't know if I can call this an empty nevertheless because I can't tell how much is actually left in the bottle, merely the bottle feels pretty light… Only I keep getting more out of it when I use it in the shower, then who knows? It's been like this for almost two months.

It's lasted a lot longer than I thought it would, and I'm nonetheless totally and completely in love with it.
